Bacteria grow in damp, warm, dark areas. Therefore damp shoes, socks and feet are a perfect breeding ground for odor-causing bacteria.

ODOR CONTROL
Drymax socks keep feet dry. With moisture gone, the damp environment is eliminated where bacteria need to grow, die, decay and create odor.

ACTIVE ODOR CONTROL
To further eliminate odors, we have added an antimicrobial (which we call MicroZap^®) into all of our Version 3 and 4 Drymax Socks.

Our MicroZap is a zirconium phosphate based ceramic ion-exchange resin which contains silver. The silver antimicrobial is not a topical treatment; it is molecularly infused into our Drymax fibers as they are being extruded. This special process makes it non-migratory, non-toxic, and produces long term Active Odor Control for our socks.
